Aaron Returns from Santa Fe, NM with New Style and Vision

It was nice to leave the beach for about a week and a half to study the artists of the west out in Santa Fe, NM. While I was there I visited the famed galleries on Canyon Road and also took a painting studio from artist John Poon. The result is a more earthy palette with a wider range of greys and softer colors.  I hope you enjoy these new paintings, some of which were painted in New Mexico and also at my studio upon my return to 30A.

Painting En Plein Air on Scenic 30a

One of the most beautiful places on Scenic 30a and the entire gulf coast is Deer Lake State Park. Lately I’ve been enjoying painting “En Plein Air” (painting on location) at this award winning state park and other state parks on 30a. I hope you enjoy the paintings!

Beachin’ it with the Fam – Grayton Beach

In the middle of summer, my studio gets filled with boards and canvas smothered in paint…. Jeans turn from blue to green and the garage floor goes from grey to orange depending on the painting :) This one definitely added some orange to the floor, rockin the 70′s blazer! This painting is 40×30 and was a commissioned piece for a family in WaterColor. Hope you enjoy!

Other News:

I was just notified that I am a finalist for Walton County Artist of the Year…. 2 years running!

Keep it relaxed. Hang with your fam. Life is short, so never forget what’s really important. Thank God for our freedom and enjoy an awesome Summer!

Matthew 6 :25“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
